In this project, Zaran and I aim to create a captivating and immersive experience of nature and growth by allowing individuals to grow shining trees using their bodies. Combining the use of Posenet to detect human motion and p5.js for the animation of the growing tree, our goal is to remind people of the magic and beauty of nature and its cyclical patterns of growth. The interactive installation serves as a form of meditation and reflection, providing a peaceful escape from the chaos and uncertainty of the present world. In a time when social interactions are limited, our connection to nature can be disrupted. This project aims to reconnect individuals with the fundamental yet wonderful experience of life and the hope it carries within the cycle of life.
