Description

Naturally generated organic plant fonts, mixed with the appearance of serif and non-serif fonts, are grafted with strange non-biological edges and angles, ignoring the rules of font design.


Inspired by Cthulhu, I began to focus on unique hybrids and repetitions in living things. Carrier shells (Xenophoridae) like to decorate themselves with other creatures, including mineral stones, which is very similar to Cyborg. The natural growth of some plants is more like amorphous alien creatures.

I try to create a variable font based on the growth rules of the creature itself rather than digitally self-generating. Its Light character resembles a weak seedling, Regular character resembles half of a serif and has the best legibility. Bold resembles Howard's mysterious creature full of cysts.
